Attention parents of Religious Education (RE) students: Registration for the 2020-2021 Religious Education academic year has begun. Your child MUST be registered before they can attend their first class. Schedules, waivers, and protocols for our program will be given to families when they register. Fees are $35/child and $75/family. Classes for students who were in 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades in the 2019-2020 RE year, will begin the first week in September. Class times are 6:30-7:45 p.m. (6th and 9th on Tuesdays and 7th and 8th on Wednesdays). Attendance is required for students to ADVANCE to their new grade for the 2020-2021 RE year. Students who were in 2nd grade in the 2019-2020 RE year, will begin the first week in September. Class times are 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Attendance is required for students to be able to make their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in October. A parent is required to attend with their student. Confirmation students (who are completing last year’s 9th grade classes on Tuesdays in September) will begin confirmation sessions on Sept. 13. Class time is 4-7 p.m. and both the candidate and sponsor (or parent) is required to attend. Family Catechesis Year II students (who completed last year’s FC-Year I) will begin classes on Sept. 13. Class time is 10:10-11:10 a.m. A parent is required to attend with their student. We will NOT be doing Kindergarten this year. Students who are currently in 1st-5th grades, will be HOME-SCHOOLED by their family. Parents will receive a student text and packet at the end of September. Weekly work will be turned in in order to be counted as present, and be able to advance next school year. What we offer at St. Joseph…
St. Joseph offers a comprehensive religious education for students in grades K – 9. 10th grade students who have completed at least two prior years of classes, one being the 9th grade pre-confirmation classes on the Nicene Creed, attend six to eight monthly 3-hour sessions in preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. For students who are behind in their sacraments or have missed more than one year of RE, we offer Family Catechesis classes designed for the student and parent(s).

K – 5th Grade meet on Sundays ………..FROM 10:10 am TO 11:10 am.
6th Grade – 9th Grade & Family Catechesis meet on Wednesday evenings …………FROM 6:30 pm TO 7:45 pm.
10th Grade meets monthly prior to Confirmation – dates and times to be announced.
