Attention parents of Religious Education (RE) students: Registration for the 2020-2021 Religious Education academic year has ended. Your child MUST be registered before they can attend their first class. Contact the church office for possible late registration.
Students who are currently in 1st-5th grades, will be HOME-SCHOOLED by their family. Weekly work will be turned in at the church cubbies in order to be counted as present, and be able to advance to the next grade level.
Students who are currently in 6th -9th grades, will be attending classes on Tuesdays and Wednesday, starting in October, from 6:30 – 7:45 PM. 6th and 7th grades will attend on Tuesdays, and 8th and 9th grades will attend on Wednesdays.
10th grade Confirmation students will continue to attend sessions on the second Sunday of each month from 4 – 7 PM. Both the candidate and sponsor (or parent) are required to attend.
Students who are in Family Catechesis Year I, will be attending classes on the first Wednesday of each month, starting in October, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. Assignments will be given at these classes to be turned in on a weekly basis. A parent is required to attend these monthly classes with their student.
Students and adults who are in RCIA, will be attending classes on the last Sunday of each month, (started in September), at 3:00 PM. A parent will need to attend with any student. Father Pedro is the instructor.

What we offer at St. Joseph…
St. Joseph offers a comprehensive religious education for students in grades K – 9. 10th grade students who have completed at least two prior years of classes, one being the 9th grade pre-confirmation classes on the Nicene Creed, attend six to eight monthly 3-hour sessions in preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. For students who are behind in their sacraments or have missed more than one year of RE, we offer Family Catechesis classes designed for the student and parent(s).

When do classes normally meet?

K – 5th Grade meet on Sundays ………..FROM 10:10 am TO 11:10 am.
6th Grade – 9th Grade & Family Catechesis meet on Wednesday evenings …………FROM 6:30 pm TO 7:45 pm.
10th Grade meets monthly prior to Confirmation – dates and times to be announced.
