>>> UPDATE for Religious Education !!! <<<
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Remember that students in 1st, 3rd – Pre-Confirmation (9th grade) are only allowed 6 absences during the year. If they accumulate more than 6 absences, they may be required to repeat the year. Students in 2nd grade, Family Catechesis Levels I & II are only allowed 4 absences. Older students receiving Sacramental Preparation should not miss more than 2 of their 11 sessions. Students in Confirmation Preparation Classes may not miss any classes. Always refer to the bulletin for the updated class schedule.
REGISTRATION: The scheduled registration period for the 2024/2025 school year has ended. But, if for any reason you were unable to register your student(s) you may still register them during office hours. Please register as soon as possible. Late registrations cause undue hardship on office staff and may impact your children’s religious education. Classes started on September 4th for 6th – Pre-Confirmation (9th grade), FC-I, and FC-II. Classes started on September 8th for K – 5th and Sacramental Prep for older students. If your child (or children) have missed years of religious education they will be assigned into special classes (FC-I or FC-II) to catch up on the subject matter they have missed; this is why it is so important to get them registered as soon as possible, so they can be placed in the appropriate class.

Students who are in 6th – Pre-Confirmation, FC-I, FC-II : Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:45 pm.

“The Christian home is the place where the children receive the first proclamation of the faith. For this reason the family is rightly called ‘the domestic church’, a community of grace and prayer, a school of human virtues and of Christian charity” (CCC, no. 1666)
We have a fantastic volunteer team of catechists who are excited about their faith and work hard each week to share their knowledge with the children and young adults of this parish. In January 2022, Representatives from this team won a Catholic religion knowledge competition at the annual catechists retreat…
We WIN… WOW, what a big trophy!
What we offer at St. Joseph…
